Principal / Staff Backend Engineer
About the Role
As a driven, product-focused senior-level backend software engineer on the founding team, you will be building a well-tested, feature-rich crypto trading experience. You will develop with a blazingly modern backend tech stack, primarily using Golang, Python, GCP, and MongoDB.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of software engineering experience
- Working knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices (e.g., Heroku, GCP)
- Comfortable with MongoDB for databasing
- High-agency and autodidactic with a founder mentality
- Crypto-native (Bonus)
- Experience with Typescript (Bonus)
Responsibilities
- Build a well-tested, feature-rich crypto trading experience
- Develop with a modern backend tech stack, primarily Golang, Python, GCP, and MongoDB
- Adhere to good code practices with a focus on readability, maintainability, and testing
- Take on full ownership of meaningful projects
