Procurement Director
About the Role
You will lead and execute global procurement strategy, build scalable procurement operating models, and manage vendor and category strategies. You will source and negotiate agreements for software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data services, and professional services. You will operate purchasing workflows in Coupa, define procurement policies and approval controls, run RFPs and contract lifecycle processes, and implement KPIs and dashboards to track savings, performance, and risk. You will partner with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Operations to forecast spend, manage budgets, ensure vendor compliance with privacy and security requirements, and minimize vendor risk. You will manage, mentor, and grow a global procurement team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of procurement experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in SaaS enterprise software or technology-driven organizations
- Hands-on experience deploying scaling and operating procurement workflows in Coupa
- Experience managing sourcing for software cloud services IT and professional services
- Demonstrated success building or scaling a procurement function in a growth-stage or mid-market company
- Negotiation vendor management and contract management skills
- Understanding of data privacy and security controls and their impact on procurement
- Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across time zones
- Experience in companies between $100M–$500M in annual revenue (preferred)
- Familiarity with Ironclad or NetSuite (preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CPSM CIPS or PMP (preferred)
- Experience supporting InfoSec Compliance and Legal teams on vendor governance workflows (preferred)
Responsibilities

- Define procurement policies approval workflows and spend controls
- Manage RFPs vendor evaluations and contract lifecycle management
- Implement procurement KPIs and dashboards to measure savings performance and risk
- Forecast spend manage budgets and deliver cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure vendor compliance with data privacy security and regulatory requirements
- Minimize vendor risk through diversified portfolios and contract terms
- Manage and mentor a global procurement team
