Product Engineer (Product Support)
About the Role
You will build and improve payment flows and features, owning work end-to-end from understanding problems to shipping solutions and supporting incident resolution. You will implement integrations (utility billing, retail and transit payments, payroll), monitor production systems, and collaborate with support to diagnose and fix user-facing issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience as a product engineer
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel to operating locations at least once per year for a minimum of 6 consecutive days
- Candidates must be based in UK, Spain, Kenya, Ghana or in operating markets in Africa (e.g., Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso)

- Build and improve payment features
- Own end-to-end product issues from problem discovery to shipping solutions
- Support the customer support team in diagnosing and resolving user issues
- Implement integrations for utility bill payments
- Enable in-store payment acceptance and transit payment integrations
- Build payroll payment features for businesses
- Monitor production systems and respond to operational issues
