Public Relations & Press Officer
About the Role
You will execute and roll out country-level communication work plans that reflect company values and public affairs strategy. You will coordinate strategic communication pathways to strengthen positioning in Côte d'Ivoire and own the communications calendar for the country. You will draft communications action plans, prepare external releases, handle press enquiries and coordinate media responses. You will plan and coordinate events and ensure branding standards are maintained. You will conceive, write, edit and proofread educational corporate communications and collaborate with the brand team to produce print and digital materials.
Requirements
- Degree in communications, marketing, journalism or relevant subject
- Fluency in French and English
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Deep understanding of Ivorian social, economic and cultural context and media landscape
- Knowledge of the Ivorian market
- Work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire
