Public Sector Account Executive
About the Role
You will lead strategic expansion into the public sector across the US, attending meetings in the DC area as needed. You will collaborate with sales support and marketing, conduct sales needs analysis, design and deliver client-centric proposals and presentations, and self-generate leads through calls, on-site visits, networking, and events. You will maintain sales databases, report sales activity, and attend sales meetings and training as required.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- 2-4 years prior experience as an Account Executive
- Previous compliance, finance, or blockchain experience is a plus
- Experience succeeding in early-stage SaaS startups
- Strong relationships with government agencies and law enforcement
- In-depth knowledge of government contracts and procurement vehicles
- Resilient personality and ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to work cross-departmentally and take initiative
- Well organized with the ability to prioritize workload and use time effectively
- Ability to handle changing requirements and unforeseen problems rapidly and positively
