Python Soft. Engineer (Junior-Mid) - AI Agents & Crypto

About the Role

Requirements

• Fluent Python knowledge and demonstrable engineering experience
• Experience building at least one autonomous agent (no manual step-by-step prompting)
• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts including transactions, nonces, gas mechanics, ERC20 events, protocols, and smart contracts
• Familiarity with model providers and inference runtimes (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini)
• Comfort with rapid experimentation and adopting new frameworks
• Ability to work in small teams on ambiguous problems and ship quickly
• Prior experience at an AI or crypto startup or quant shop (nice to have)
• Meaningful open-source contributions in AI/ML, agent frameworks, blockchain analytics, or Python libraries (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python-based AI agents
• Build planning loops, memory and vector stores, and tool orchestration
• Develop eval harnesses and benchmark agent performance
• Deploy agents to production environments
• Parse raw transaction data and trace smart-contract calls
• Analyze on-chain failures and surface actionable insights
• Run experiments with new models and frameworks and present findings
• Write clean, typed, testable Python and maintain CI
• Review pull requests and document technical decisions
