QA Manager
About the Role
You will own the quality of deliverables across the product lifecycle. You will ensure test cases exist and are executed, participate from Product Memo to Release Memo, define quality KPIs, gauge release readiness, audit development processes, collect and communicate release and client metrics, document code and business processes, and gate production releases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a QA or release manager in the financial services field
- Experience with test case management tools (e.g. TestRail)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Product mindset
- In-depth knowledge of one or more end-to-end SDLC methodologies
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, manage and execute automated and manual testing processes
- Own test case management tools
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure products meet customer expectations
- Ensure all production releases adhere to release management procedures
- Conduct internal studies and audits on product development activities to evaluate process and deliverable quality
- Provide subject matter expertise to product development teams on quality assurance methodologies
- Collect metrics on software releases and incidents and communicate findings throughout the organization
- Collect metrics on client management and deliveries and communicate findings throughout the organization
- Support development and delivery of quality training
- Document code and business processes for ongoing maintenance
- Ensure client satisfaction levels meet required standards (NPS and surveys)
- Ensure quality of client deliveries meets required standards
- Gatekeep releases to uphold quality standards
