Quant Researcher (MFT Focus)
About the Role
You will develop and deploy mid-frequency quantitative trading strategies using market-leading execution capabilities. You will design and implement predictive models for digital assets and analyze high-resolution market data to uncover short-term alpha signals and market microstructure patterns. You will perform rigorous backtesting, simulation, and parameter optimisation, and collaborate with developers to optimise performance and execution efficiency. You will adapt and scale strategies to crypto markets and refine models to explore new trading opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience developing and deploying MFT strategies with demonstrable production performance
- Strong quantitative background (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Advanced Python coding skills
- C++ familiarity is a plus
- Interest in translating strategies from traditional markets into crypto
- Proof-of-concept or live performance data for existing crypto strategies (nice to have)
- Experience in market making or liquidity provision (nice to have)
- Knowledge of exchange APIs, market microstructure, blockchain data and crypto trading dynamics (nice to have)
- Experience identifying and exploring alternative data sets (nice to have)
