About the Role

Requirements

• 10+ years of business development experience in blockchain, fintech, or financial services
• At least 2 years of experience working in the blockchain industry
• Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, including exchanges, custodians, and asset tokenization platforms
• Proven track record of closing partnerships and driving measurable outcomes
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with senior-level stakeholders
• High degree of accountability and strong stakeholder communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in remote and cross-functional environments
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and ability to travel frequently
• Preferred: existing relationships within the crypto ecosystem focused on tokenization and DeFi
• Preferred: existing relationships with financial institutions, especially asset management

Responsibilities

• Drive business development across Latin America to expand DeFi, increase monthly addresses, and advance asset tokenization
• Identify, surface, and help close partnership opportunities with developers, exchanges, custodians, and financial institutions
• Coordinate and align regional activities across partnership, ecosystem, legal, policy, and government relations teams
• Support regulatory and government relations initiatives in the region
• Plan, organize, and represent the organization at regional events and conferences
• Report regional progress and outcomes to stakeholders regularly
• Travel frequently to represent Stellar at meetings and conferences
