Regional Lead (User Growth)
About the Role
You will lead and energize on-the-ground distribution activities to grow and retain the user base. You will manage supervisors and field distributors, design and execute user acquisition and retention strategies, hire and train distribution staff, build and iterate roadmaps, use data to inform decisions, and collaborate with agency partners.
Requirements
- Fluency in French; fluency in a local language is a plus
- Proficient in English
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or team management
- At least 4 years managing field teams or user acquisition teams based in the field
- At least 2 years designing user acquisition strategies for telecom, payment service providers, FMCG, or financial institutions
- At least 2 years managing large teams (50+ people)
- Work authorization in Burkina Faso
- Willingness to relocate to other regions for 2-3 month periods
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of supervisors and team leads
- Recruit and manage field-based distributors
- Identify and resolve blockers to user growth
- Develop and execute user retention strategies
- Hire, train, and scale distribution team members
- Build and iterate the distribution roadmap to meet quarterly objectives
- Use data to make distribution decisions and monitor team performance
- Coordinate with agency partners to operationalize strategies
- Share insights to inform distribution strategy
