RESEARCH ANALYST
About the Role
You will dive into the crypto ecosystem to uncover trends and generate actionable insights. You will analyze major public blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, explore cryptoasset datasets, create dashboards and scripts in Python and SQL, and synthesize findings into clear reports and newsletters. You will consult with clients on research needs, contribute insights for social content, and help improve data products by translating research into product requirements. You will stay current with industry developments and communicate complex ideas clearly to nontechnical audiences.
Requirements
- Passion for the technical and economic value of cryptoassets
- Proficiency creating dashboards and writing Python scripts
- Ability to compose SQL queries
- Interest in and understanding of blockchain technology
- Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of SQL, Python or R preferred
- Strong writing skills
- Experience with data analysis

- Support research efforts for newsletters, original research, and sponsored research
- Identify and research topics of interest to the community and clients
- Conduct research in support of data products
- Explore cryptoasset data and surface actionable insights
- Analyze major public blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Synthesize research into reports and publications
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders
- Contribute research insights to social media content curation
- Consult with clients on their research interests and needs
