Research Team Lead
About the Role
You will drive research on decentralization, solver competition, and mechanism evolution. You will lead and manage the research team, mentor colleagues, and provide oversight for ongoing projects. You will take a hands-on approach to experimentation and modeling, run on-chain experiments and data analysis, and translate findings into actionable product and engineering changes. You will collaborate with product and engineering to align research with the roadmap, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Applied research experience in blockchain DeFi or crypto-economics
- Proven leadership and management experience mentoring or leading research teams or projects
- Product ownership and project management skills with experience contributing to strategy and roadmaps
- Pragmatic orientation driving research that results in shipped products or live systems
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data research tools and on-chain experimentation
- Excellent communication skills for remote international collaboration
- Web3-native mindset with knowledge of on-chain trends and research
