Security Engineer
About the Role
You will secure and harden cloud and infrastructure deployments, focusing on AWS and Kubernetes environments. You will conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing, implement and manage VPNs and multi-region access, and operate secret management (Vault/KMS). You will automate security controls and guide developers on secure practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cloud security or DevOps roles
- Prior experience focusing on infrastructure security
- Mastery of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
- Experience with Kubernetes or GCP
- Implemented VPNs and managed multi-region access
- Familiarity with secret management tools such as Vault or KMS
- Experience conducting security design reviews, penetration testing, and threat modeling
- Demonstrated ability to automate security controls and train developers
