Security Researcher
About the Role
You will review smart contracts for the top decentralized applications before they get launched and present findings and vulnerabilities that the protocol can have to the client. You will team up with one or two auditors and review code line by line and try to hack it. You will work on proposals to make code easier to understand and use in the future by sharing good practices. You will conduct open-ended research around cutting edge blockchain technologies. You will have paid time to conduct research and contribute to OpenZeppelin’s projects and knowledge.
Requirements
- Hands-on and practical experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, cyber security, mathematics.
- Experience with public Ethereum or other EVM-based blockchains.
- Knowledge in the Solidity programming language.
- An advanced English level and great communication skills (oral and written).
- Experience in Back-end programming using JavaScript, Python, Golang or Rust.
- Experience performing code reviews.
- Experience in financial engineering and/or capital markets microstructure.
