Senior Accountant - Banking Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting
About the Role
You will download bank statements from group banking portals and reconcile them accurately. You will process fiat currency payments on behalf of the Commercial team and be available to handle payments after standard working hours when required. You will assist with liquidity management, manage transactional queries with service providers, and provide feedback to improve inefficient payment processes. You will maintain and improve templates and standard operating procedures and collaborate with automation teams to drive process efficiencies. You must carefully review each transaction to ensure it meets company requirements and follow up on outstanding, pending, or disputed transactions.
Requirements
- Big 4 audit or advisory experience
- Experience reporting assets held on behalf of clients
- 3+ years experience in payments review and processing
- 3+ years experience in basic accounting and allocation of general ledger codes
- 3+ years experience working with foreign currencies
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite (preferable)
- Understanding of processing payments in local and foreign currencies
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analysis and Excel skills
- Basic knowledge and understanding of virtual assets
- Preferably available immediately
