Senior Accounting Manager
About the Role
You will own key aspects of financial operations, manage relationships with accounting partners, and act as the primary controller for digital asset accounting. You will record transactions, perform blockchain reconciliations and valuations, maintain the digital asset subledger, run stablecoin attestations, prepare regulatory filings, implement accounting policies aligned with US GAAP, and support audits. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and compliance to ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and timely reporting.
Requirements
- CPA certification
- 4+ years of combined public accounting and in-house experience
- Proven ability to manage month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting processes
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a startup environment
- Experience with blockchain explorers, wallet management tools, or digital asset accounting platforms
- Familiarity with financial regulatory reporting frameworks
- Prior experience in high-growth or early-stage startup environments
- Strong process design and improvement skills
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships and deliverables with accounting partners to ensure accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting
- Act as the main controller for digital asset accounting, overseeing transaction recording, blockchain reconciliations, and valuation processes
- Administer and maintain the third-party digital asset accounting subledger and ensure data integrity and integration with financial systems
- Manage the monthly stablecoin attestation process and coordinate with auditors to verify reserve balances and publish reports
- Develop and maintain accounting policies aligned with US GAAP and applicable digital asset accounting guidance
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and stablecoin reserve disclosures in compliance with relevant jurisdictions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches, operational changes, and control implementations
- Support annual audits and manage communications with external auditors
