Senior AI Scientist
About the Role
You will research and develop advanced video and multimodal foundation models, build production-grade ML systems, integrate models into the product stack, deploy and scale inference services and design model APIs, publish research at top venues, and process large-scale media datasets for production use.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, ECE, Statistics, Math, Physics or related field
- Minimum 3 years post-PhD or 5 years post-MS experience as a machine learning engineer
- Proven ability to build, verify, and deploy state-of-the-art task-specific ML models
- Deep knowledge of machine and deep learning algorithms such as Transformer, VLM, LLM, CNN, residual networks, GAN, clustering, and sequence models
- Experience with ML frameworks and libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Jax
- Experience deploying machine learning models in production, especially for video/media applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
- Technical expertise in system design and software development
- Proficiency in high-level languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Bash
- Proficiency in system programming languages such as C++, Go, and Rust
- Experience designing and implementing APIs for model inference services
- Deep knowledge of statistical data analysis and processing large-scale datasets
- Familiarity with CockroachDB and Firebase for large-scale data storage
Responsibilities
- Research and develop advanced video and multimodal foundation models

- Publish research and represent Eluvio AI Labs at academic and industry conferences
- Design and implement APIs and inference services for scalable model integration
