Senior Backend Engineer
About the Role
You will spearhead feature development from requirements through delivery, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, readability, and performance. You will take ownership of the product, the tech stack, and development processes, monitor emerging technologies, and address performance issues across web apps and backend systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Python
- Experience with React and TypeScript - an advantage
- Familiarity with state management libraries
- At least 4 years of experience in REST API and Backend development
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges with autonomy, top-notch design, and analytical skills
- A mindset that challenges the status quo, always seeking workflow improvements
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining reusable and maintainable components
- Experience in writing unit tests and end-to-end
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and languages
- Experience addressing performance issues (both in web apps and backend)
