Senior Backend Engineer
About the Role
You will design and build backend systems and APIs that power data and analytics products. You will own and maintain the backend API layer, identify and resolve stability and scalability issues, and optimize performance. You will scope work, write implementation specs, and drive operational efficiency through automation and CI/CD. You will deploy and tune serverless services, optimize relational database schemas and queries, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready features. You are expected to write clean, reusable code and maintain high standards for performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Significant knowledge of the crypto industry
- Minimum 5 years professional experience as a Backend Engineer
- Strong backend development and API architecture experience using TypeScript and Node.js or Go
- Experience building high-throughput APIs handling over 1M requests per day
- Experience with serverless architecture deployment, configuration, and TTFB optimization
- Proficiency in relational databases MySQL and PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean reusable code
