Senior Backend Engineer, Custody Wallets
About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain backend systems that power secure crypto wallets and blockchain products. You will implement robust support for MPC and multi-signature setups, optimize system performance, and apply secure coding practices. You will collaborate with partners and cross-functional stakeholders, provide technical guidance, and take ownership of end-to-end backend solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience with strong focus on Go
- Proven experience building crypto wallets or blockchain-related products
- Deep understanding of UTXO and account models state management and consensus mechanisms
- Extensive experience in secure coding practices and blockchain security principles
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and competitive cloud service setups
- Strong problem-solving skills independent self-driven mindset and ability to take ownership
- User-centric approach to designing and launching high-quality products
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain crypto wallet systems using Go
- Implement support for multi-party computation (MPC) and multi-signature configurations
- Architect modular and scalable backend systems with strong security and performance focus
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to optimize integrations and configurations
- Provide technical guidance to Product Security Finance and Engineering stakeholders
- Assess client requirements and recommend tailored technical solutions
- Define architectures and systems to enable mass adoption while preserving security
- Own delivery of high-quality secure backend solutions and drive continuous improvement
