Senior Backend Software Engineer
About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems. You will write clear technical designs, implement features, and own them through production. You will prioritize observability and reliability by implementing metrics and structured logging, manage complex third-party integrations, and design event-driven and microservice architectures. You will leverage AI-native workflows to automate routine tasks, mentor peers, participate in Scrum processes, and contribute to product improvements.
Requirements
- Proficient in designing event-driven and microservice architectures and managing complex third-party integrations
- Strong experience with PHP and related frameworks (Symfony, Laravel)
- Experience implementing system observability, metrics, and structured logging
- Experience in blockchain financial or trading systems (trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation)
- Professional level of English
- Pragmatic engineering approach with ability to make tradeoffs
- Experience working within a Scrum framework
- Experience building long-lived projects and maintaining past decisions
Responsibilities
