Senior Blockchain Data Researcher
About the Role
You will lead and manage a research pipeline across multiple web3 domains, creating research campaigns, gathering and cleaning on-chain data, and deriving first-principle insights. You will write and optimize SQL queries, build analyses in Python or R, and produce clear data visualizations to communicate findings. You will analyze whitepapers and on-chain behavior, use tools like Flipside and Dune, and integrate REST APIs and block explorer data as needed. You will incorporate feedback, meet deadlines, and collaborate with the Research team while reporting to the Head of Research.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in blockchain data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of SQL including indexes subqueries CTEs and basic profiling
- Proficiency in Python or R and data analytics packages such as Pandas matplotlib dplyr ggplot
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Experience using on-chain analytics tools such as Flipside and Dune
- Familiarity engaging with developer communities on Twitter Telegram and Discord
- Experience parsing block explorers (Solscan Etherscan) and working with REST APIs
- Preferred experience leading teams mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with stakeholders
- Preferred advanced understanding of Solana EVM validators and RPC infrastructure

- Analyze whitepapers to inform on-chain analysis
- Prepare reports and research deliverables for external distribution
- Collaborate with research colleagues and incorporate feedback
- Stay current on on-chain research tools and industry best practices
