Senior Blockchain Engineer
About the Role
You will lead the design and implementation of the Liquid Collective protocol and its smart contracts. You will architect and build production-grade Solidity contracts, prototype and iterate on features, build tooling to operate the protocol securely, perform research into EVM and proof of stake behaviors, review engineers' code, and drive audit remediation and releases. You will also define and enforce best practices for security, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience architecting, building and releasing production-grade Solidity contracts
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum proof of stake protocol
- Experience with smart contracts monitoring tools and practices
- Experience working in an agile, remote-first environment
- Experience contributing to open-source communities
- Willingness to constantly learn and help beyond the scope of the job
Responsibilities
- Architect smart contract protocols
- Build secure smart contracts and integration systems
- Create and enforce security measures to prevent smart contract hacks
- Drive standardization of the protocol
- Define best practices for architecture, testing, releases, monitoring, and security
- Prototype, iterate, and launch protocol features and tooling
