Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience in modern languages (Go Python JavaScript TypeScript)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Knowledge of consensus mechanisms cryptographic primitives and distributed systems
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API design
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in the blockchain ecosystem
• Preferred 4+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience
• Preferred experience building blockchain solutions for enterprise or institutional use cases
• Preferred understanding of security best practices for smart contracts and blockchain systems
• Preferred experience applying AI tools for programming
• Preferred experience with institutional DeFi staking protocols or custody solutions
• Preferred understanding of MPC multi-signature wallets and advanced cryptographic techniques
• Preferred experience with Docker Kubernetes and Helm
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Research and prototype Layer 2 solutions cross-chain bridges and DeFi protocols
• Design and implement secure and scalable blockchain solutions integrated with existing infrastructure
• Provide structured feedback to blockchain foundations on protocol design tooling and support
• Advocate for features or changes that benefit wallet infrastructure and users
• Establish partnerships with foundations vendors builders and customers to address challenges and implement solutions
• Collaborate with product engineering and security teams to define technical requirements
• Mentor and guide other engineers on blockchain technologies and implementations
• Stay current with emerging blockchain technologies protocols and industry developments
