Senior Brand Designer
About the Role
You will define and maintain the visual language across product interfaces, marketing materials, educational content, and brand assets. You will design static assets and bring them to life with sophisticated motion graphics and 3D animation using tools like After Effects and Blender. You will translate complex technical ideas into intuitive, educational visuals and oversee projects from concept through polished delivery on tight timelines. You will mentor junior designers, influence creative direction, and continuously improve design processes, tools, and best practices. This role requires working in person at the New York City office.
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience in a creative design role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating static design and advanced motion graphics
- Expert proficiency in Figma
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects
- Solid experience in 3D animation and Blender
- Up to date on evolving design trends and tools
- Deep understanding of visual storytelling, typography, color theory, and composition
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience setting creative standards and influencing design toolsets (nice to have)
- Familiarity with emerging design trends and technologies (nice to have)
- Prior startup experience (nice to have)
