Senior Business Development (Web3 Security)

About the Role

You will utilize security engineering expertise to accelerate adoption of permissionless, open, and decentralized systems. You will attract new clients, build and maintain relationships, generate leads, negotiate and close deals, and conduct market research. You will develop business strategies and pitches, identify new opportunities, and work with security audits, formal verification, and real-time monitoring. You will also assist in drafting business plans, sales materials, and presentations, and collaborate with marketing on lead-generation campaigns.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in sales
  • Experience in Web3 (required)
  • Previous experience selling security services and products (preferred)
  • Proven experience in sales and lead generation with measurable results
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to generate and acquire new leads
  • Strong network in Web3 (Ethereum, Starknet, other L2s)
  • Experience working with marketing on lead-generation campaigns
  • Ability to make decisions autonomously and explain ideas concisely
  • Self-driven entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work fast and autonomously
  • Good knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto space
  • Data-savvy; understand basic metrics of sales, marketing, and operations
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships while maintaining existing ones
