Senior Commercial Counsel

About the Role

You will negotiate and draft commercial agreements with strategic partners, provide legal advice to senior finance and business development stakeholders, and lead complex commercial negotiations. You will draft and oversee intercompany agreements, form and govern legal entities across jurisdictions, manage the employee stock option plan, and oversee the intellectual property portfolio while working cross-functionally under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years commercial legal experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, funds, and/or finance
  • Experience at a top tier law firm or high growth company (preferably both)
  • Experience leading complex commercial negotiations
  • Commercial mindset with deep understanding of practical business issues
  • Experience forming and managing legal entities in multiple international jurisdictions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
