Senior Data Engineer
About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and warehouses that feed product features. You will implement ETL solutions, connect to blockchain nodes and third-party sources, and model schemas in PostgreSQL. You will lead Solana data ingestion projects, improve automation and operational efficiency, and provide technical guidance to engineers across functions.
Requirements
- Significant knowledge of the crypto industry
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, data operations, and data warehousing
- Experience building backend systems at scale focused on data processing and ingestion
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, and/or Python
- Strong expertise in SQL, especially Postgres, dbt, and Hypertables
- Experience creating data warehouses using Timescale, Snowflake, and/or BigQuery
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and AWS
Responsibilities
- Own data sourcing pipelines
- Design and implement ETL solutions
- Model internal schemas in PostgreSQL
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
- Improve and automate data workflows and operational processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Product, and Engineering
