Senior DevOps Engineer
About the Role
You will design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS to support decentralized cellular and IoT workloads. You will build and operate Kubernetes clusters, author and maintain Terraform to provision infrastructure, and manage secrets, PKI, and certificate lifecycles using Vault. You will configure and operate Boundary for identity-aware access and manage RADIUS and RadSec for network authentication. You will implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions and FluxCD, create observability dashboards in Grafana, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures. You will document architectures, operational procedures, and runbooks, and assist with day-to-day system administration tasks such as Google Workspace and 1Password.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform engineering roles
- Significant experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Experience building and operating EKS clusters
- Experience with observability and security best practices
- Experience with Vault and secrets management
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and FluxCD
- Experience with RADIUS and RadSec is a plus
- Experience working in fast paced startup environments
- Self starter able to work with ambiguous requirements
- US-based and able to work Pacific or Mountain timezones
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available secure cloud infrastructure on AWS

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Administer and extend HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and PKI
- Configure and operate HashiCorp Boundary for secure remote access
- Manage RADIUS and RadSec infrastructure for network authentication
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and FluxCD
- Implement observability tooling and dashboards in Grafana
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Document infrastructure architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Assist with system administration tasks such as Google Workspace and 1Password
