Senior DevOps Engineer
About the Role
You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. You will own and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and smart contract codebases. You will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting, drive SLOs, and participate in on-call rotations. You will optimize infrastructure for latency-sensitive workloads, implement security and secrets management, lead incident response and disaster recovery, monitor and optimize cloud costs, evaluate new tooling, and maintain clear documentation and runbooks while mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps SRE or infrastructure engineering for high-availability mission-critical systems
- 6+ years of experience with major cloud platforms AWS and GCP
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Pulumi CloudFormation)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab CI ArgoCD)
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring logging and alerting tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK/EFK OpenTelemetry)
- Hands-on experience with secrets management and security best practices (HashiCorp Vault KMS IAM)
- Proven experience tuning production infrastructure for latency-sensitive workloads
- Strong scripting skills (Python Bash Go)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills focused on reliability and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Build and maintain scalable reproducible environments for high-throughput low-latency systems
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend frontend and smart contract codebases
- Define and implement monitoring logging and alerting strategies
- Drive SLO SLI and SLA targets and participate in on-call rotations
- Optimize infrastructure for latency-sensitive workloads and tune autoscaling
- Implement security practices including network segmentation secret management and runtime hardening
- Establish incident response playbooks failover mechanisms and disaster recovery plans
- Continuously monitor and optimize cloud costs
- Evaluate new infrastructure orchestration and security technologies
- Maintain documentation runbooks and mentor engineers
