Senior Engineering Manager, Brokerage
About the Role
You will build and maintain market-leading crypto brokerage solutions, setting technical direction and operational standards. You will oversee design, development, and deployment of brokerage components and tooling, ensure reliability and security, mentor and grow engineers and managers, optimize resource allocation, and hire top talent.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in management
- Proven experience building and delivering enterprise-grade B2B and B2C products at scale
- Deep expertise in high-performance, highly available brokerage solutions and tier-1 SLAs (including 99.999% uptime)
- Experience developing and maintaining reliable, high-throughput systems
- Strong track record of talent development and mentorship of engineering managers and senior engineers
- Ability to collaborate across functions and work with Product and Business stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills for mission-critical technical challenges
- Strategic and regulatory understanding of financial services
- Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives and execute at scale
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams
- Manage and mentor multiple software engineering teams
- Own end-to-end engineering execution for brokerage components and tooling
- Oversee design, development, and deployment of systems
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Growth, and Customer Success
- Establish and enforce best practices in code quality, testing, security, and documentation
- Plan resources, allocate budgets, and prioritize projects for maximum impact
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and managers
- Recruit, hire, and onboard engineering talent
