Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development with focus on distributed systems
- 4+ years of experience in engineering management building and leading backend teams
- Expertise in engineering and maintaining large scale distributed systems
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with multi-region and multi-cloud deployments
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to execute autonomously
- Ability to balance perfection with shipping quickly
- Curiosity about crypto and AI and engagement with open-source ecosystems
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple teams across cloud infrastructure platform data engineering and internal tooling
- Define and oversee technical and platform strategy for scalable backend systems
- Monitor technological and ecosystem advancements and drive technical strategy
- Improve execution mentor engineers and refine engineering processes
- Recruit and hire top-tier engineers
- Promote engineering culture through leadership mentorship and learning programs
- Ensure high-quality standards through technical mentorship and reviews
