Senior Frontend Engineer
About the Role
You will drive development of a performant, responsive, real-time frontend application. You will design dynamic, interactive interfaces that handle live order book, price, and trade updates; optimize rendering and resource use; build responsive, accessible UIs across devices; architect scalable React-based codebases; and write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Requirements
- 6+ years in frontend development building high-performance real-time web applications
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Expertise with modern web frameworks and advanced CSS techniques
- Deep knowledge of performant client-side React application architecture
- Experience with unit integration and end-to-end testing methodologies
- Experience with WebSocket or other real-time data protocols
- Experience working closely with product design and backend teams in remote or distributed settings
- Preferred 8+ years in frontend development especially in fintech trading or real-time data applications
- Familiarity with server-side rendering such as Next.js and progressive web app development
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with web3 frontend stack such as ethers or viem and client-side private key management (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic interactive user interfaces that handle real-time data feeds such as live order books price updates and trade executions
- Translate complex requirements into engaging intuitive interfaces and collaborate with backend engineers to ensure smooth API integration
- Optimize application performance using efficient code advanced rendering techniques and smart resource management
- Build responsive accessible frontends that perform consistently across devices and browsers
- Architect scalable maintainable frontends using modern frameworks and state management libraries and maintain component design testing and documentation
