Senior Infrastructure Engineer
About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain the backbone of the engineering platform, including developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and core infrastructure that powers high-performance APIs and data services. You will architect scalable systems, build automated testing tooling, ensure availability and reliability, and operate autonomously while collaborating with engineers across the company.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems
- Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tooling including AWS and Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform, Kafka, load balancing, ElastiCache, messaging queues, Flux, Docker, GitHub Workflows, Cloudflare, FluxCD
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, S3, Lambda, and AWS networking (VPCs, VPC Peering)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Proven history of improving engineering workflows and implementing tools and processes
- Leadership experience planning and executing large-scale projects
- Ability to ship quickly and iterate without compromising quality
- Specialized expertise in at least one area such as networking or security
