Senior Infrastructure Engineer
About the Role
You will architect, develop, and implement next-generation infrastructure platforms across private and public clouds. You will build hybrid environments integrating bare-metal, virtualization, and orchestration technologies. You will drive automation and standardization using Infrastructure-as-Code, improve observability, and optimize resource allocation. You will perform capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and documentation to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability, and collaborate with operations and platform teams to integrate and maintain systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Datacenter Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Deep expertise in Linux/Unix systems
- Proven experience designing and managing hybrid cloud, bare-metal, virtualized, and cloud-native platforms
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Consul, and Jenkins
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, and DataDog
- Programming experience in Python, Go, or JavaScript
- Understanding of infrastructure architecture principles including scalability, redundancy, and fault tolerance
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and networking fundamentals
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy complex infrastructure systems across bare-metal, virtualized, and containerized environments
- Implement automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Consul)
- Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and architecture diagrams
- Partner with operations and platform teams to integrate systems and improve deployment efficiency
- Optimize resource allocation and infrastructure cost efficiency while maintaining performance and uptime
- Perform capacity planning and disaster recovery testing to improve resilience and scalability
