Senior iOS Engineer
About the Role
You will design and deliver performant, scalable iOS features for Web3-powered tools and apps. You will own mobile performance, implement robust data handling, offline support, and caching, and collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers. You will define architecture and patterns, improve CI/CD and testing, instrument performance, and produce documentation to keep the codebase modular, testable, and reliable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with production apps at scale
- Deep expertise in Swift
- Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
- Strong understanding of Apple frameworks and system APIs
- Knowledge of mobile architecture and design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, VIPER
- Experience architecting modular, testable, and performant iOS codebases
- Experience with data persistence and storage such as Core Data or SQLite
- Experience with background threading, caching strategies, and concurrency
- Experience with instrumentation, performance analysis, crash reporting, and monitoring
- Proven ability to ship quickly while maintaining stability and polish
- Clear communication skills and experience working with designers and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience leading architecture or re-architecture of high-scale mobile apps (preferred)
- Familiarity with Web3 technologies, Solana wallets, or cryptographic integrations (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-quality iOS features focusing on performance and scalability
- Own mobile performance including launch time, memory usage, and responsiveness
- Define and maintain patterns and frameworks to keep the codebase scalable and efficient
- Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs and implement robust data handling with offline support and caching
- Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect native UI
- Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and documentation
- Drive engineering best practices across the mobile codebase
