Senior Product Designer - Perps
About the Role
You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to solve UX and UI challenges for perpetuals trading products. You will communicate ideas through high-quality concepts and interactive prototypes, and provide engineers with clear design specifications so implementations match the intended experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align on requirements, explain design rationale, and iterate quickly based on feedback. You will simplify complex financial concepts into intuitive interfaces and consistently apply design systems, components, and brand guidelines in a remote working environment.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Previous experience in crypto
- Familiarity with Hyperliquid's ecosystem
- Experience with perpetuals trading and orderbook perps UIs
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into intuitive high-performing UX
- Experience working effectively in a fully remote environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- End-to-end champion of usability and user-centric design
- Fluency in Figma, design libraries, and components
- Consistent application of brand and voice guidelines
- Ability to work well within a team and be self-guided day-to-day
- Willingness to adapt quickly to change and to learn and grow within the role
