Senior Product Engineer
About the Role
You will work across the stack to build and launch product features from exploration and prototyping to implementation, launch, and iteration. You will collaborate with Product and Design to define user experiences, own system architecture and reliability, and improve codebase, testing, and infrastructure. You will address performance and scalability challenges, integrate with external services and blockchains, and contribute to technical leadership and hiring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience as an individual contributor
- Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures
- Experience with system design and distributed systems
- Proven ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and follow engineering best practices
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and overlap with core hours 9 AM to 12 PM PT
- Startup mindset: resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
- Bonus experience building 0 → 1 products and engineering systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and Design to define roadmap priorities and user experiences
- Own full-stack features end-to-end from prototype to launch and iteration
- Design and build scalable, reliable, high-performance systems
- Improve code quality, testing, and development practices
- Drive architectural decisions and engineering standards
- Integrate with external services and blockchain data sources
- Participate in hiring by interviewing candidates and improving hiring processes
