Senior Security Engineer, Research & Engineering
About the Role
You will design, build, and enhance security-focused software tools and frameworks across diverse contexts. You will contribute to open-source projects, analyze complex security challenges, and develop practical, deployable solutions. You will implement secure CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions integrations, perform security code review, and conduct root-cause analysis and low-level debugging. You will collaborate with technical leads, peers, and clients, and you are encouraged to write and share your work publicly.
Requirements
- Strong software development skills in Rust, C++, and/or Python
- Familiarity with Go or Java as needed
- Knowledge of AI/ML systems and associated security challenges
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
- Experience with secure development practices and building secure software
- Ability to quickly learn new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
- Understanding of computer security principles and common vulnerability classes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
