Senior Software Engineer, Assets Core
About the Role
You will modernize the foundational infrastructure that represents and secures assets. You will design and build core primitives for asset movement, including transactional signing and wallet balance reservation systems. You will decompose legacy systems to decouple business logic from execution, improve observability, and reduce manual break-fixes. You will architect solutions for data consistency and fault tolerance to prevent race conditions across concurrent workflows. You will drive development of a robust testing framework for mission-critical services and collaborate with platform and product teams to enable faster, more reliable launches of new assets and products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Expertise building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
- Experience with modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Track record of writing clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
- Strong understanding of security best practices and experience building secure systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex requirements
- Experience with workflow engines and state management systems (plus)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and KYC/AML processes (plus)
- Experience using AI tools to improve work
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
