Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Research and Development)
About the Role
You will research and develop verifiable computing solutions and confidential computing integrations. You will design, implement, and scale secure, high-performance production systems that bridge secure hardware and decentralized trust. You will lead investigation into Trusted Execution Environments such as Intel TDX, collaborate with product managers and partners, and move prototypes to production. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle with remote flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Requirements
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems
- Proficient in Rust
- Proficient in Go
- Ability to tackle ambiguous complex problems and drive clarity through experimentation and technical excellence
- Familiarity with blockchain systems and verifiable compute (nice to have)
- Understanding of Trusted Execution Environments such as Intel TDX and Intel SGX (nice to have)
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based TEE deployments and GPU-accelerated environments (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade systems that bring blockchain-level verifiability to offchain computation and bridge secure hardware with decentralized trust
- Architect, implement, and scale secure high-performance infrastructure from prototype to full production deployment
- Lead research in Trusted Execution Environments such as Intel TDX to power verifiable and trust-minimized offchain systems
