Senior Software Engineer, Backend - World ID
About the Role
You will own and operate backend software components: design, implement, debug, test, instrument, and scale services and APIs. You will build SDKs and cloud integrations and develop privacy-preserving attestation and verification mechanisms. You will improve security, reliability, and performance, and enable third-party developer integrations. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, production-ready systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and developing backend software
- Strong system design skills with focus on scalability reliability and maintainability
- Experience building SDKs and cloud integrations
- Familiarity with privacy-preserving techniques and security best practices
- Strong collaboration communication and prioritization skills
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and changing environments
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
