About the Role

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience on collaborative teams
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of distributed systems and information retrieval
• Proficiency writing server applications in Go, Python, Rust, C#, Java, or C++
• Experience supporting production web services at scale
• Excellent communication and technical leadership in design and code reviews
• Solid grasp of software design patterns and building reusable modular components
• Familiarity with existing frameworks and open-source tools
• Passion for performance optimization, debugging, and benchmarking
• Ability to work autonomously with an open and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable web services
• Design developer-facing APIs and platform functionality
• Drive development from vision to implementation
• Identify developer needs and create protocols and services
• Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Author detailed technical specifications (RFCs)
• Engage with the open-source community
• Collaborate on code reviews and design discussions
