Senior Video Editor - Contractor
About the Role
You will embed with the creative team and lead video post production across projects. You will conceive and execute post production work, design and deliver product and marketing video campaigns, and edit short-form content for platforms like TikTok. You will manage multiple complex projects, communicate visual concepts and art direction, collaborate with creative and non‑creative stakeholders, build looks and motion graphics from scratch, maintain 4K workflows and quality control, and present your work with clear rationale. You will iterate on feedback and ensure deliverables meet technical and creative standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with 4K workflows and a wide variety of edit styles
- 8+ years professional experience managing post production of live action and animated projects
- Stellar online portfolio with live examples and detailed role descriptions
- Broad experience across video styles, plugins, grading, and overlays
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience including Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Ability to build looks and motion from scratch
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work remotely full time
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve (nice to have)
