Settlement and Trading Operations Engineer

About the Role

You will oversee and manage the end-to-end processing of crypto and fiat transfers, ensuring transactions are finalized accurately and on time. You will perform frequent data reconciliations, investigate failed transfers by querying databases and logs, and write basic scripts to automate repetitive reconciliation tasks. You will generate recurring reports and dashboards to monitor transaction health, collaborate with Product and Engineering to test and improve settlement tools, and serve as a technical point of contact for institutional clients to resolve transaction inquiries.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in financial operations, payments, or back-office settlement
  • Basic proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data
  • Familiarity with how APIs work (e.g., using Postman)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in transactional environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for institutional clients to resolve transaction inquiries
