Site Reliability Engineer, Blockchain Infrastructure
About the Role
You will design, deploy, and maintain blockchain infrastructure. You will run and operate nodes and validators across testnet and mainnet environments, perform technical due diligence on new protocols, and automate infrastructure deployments using IaC and CI/CD. You will improve observability and monitoring, guide architectural decisions, and document operational processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years in blockchain or crypto infrastructure including validator and node operations
- 5+ years in platform or infrastructure engineering
- Kubernetes and container orchestration
- CI/CD pipeline expertise
- Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt
- Experience with Helm
- Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana stack)
- Understanding of networking, security, and high-availability systems
- Clear communication skills
- Knowledge of staking and decentralized finance
Responsibilities
- Perform technical due diligence on new protocols
- Deploy and manage nodes and validators across Ethereum, L2s, and staking networks
- Run protocols in testnet and mainnet environments and liaise with protocol teams
- Build and maintain scalable multi-cloud and bare metal infrastructure
- Automate deployments and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines
- Improve observability, alerting, and performance monitoring using Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus
- Guide architectural decisions and promote best practices
- Document technical processes and share learnings
