Site Reliability Engineer
About the Role
You will design, optimize and support highly available systems across a multi‑regional trading infrastructure. You will manage cloud and physical server inventories, automate deployments with Infrastructure as Code, and operate Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts. You will own networking and exchange connectivity, microservice orchestration, observability, disaster recovery and security hardening. You will drive automation and CI/CD improvements to reduce friction and increase developer velocity through better tooling and infrastructure design.
Requirements
- Kubernetes multi‑cluster administration
- Container security and container orchestration
- Distributed systems and cluster storage knowledge
- Experience with Kafka Aeron multicast or HPC patterns
- Proficiency in Python Go or Rust
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and immutable infrastructure
- Familiarity with FluxCD ArgoCD and custom continuous delivery
- Strong Linux internals knowledge including cgroups
- Networking skills including routing switching firewall and DNS/service discovery
- Database administration experience with MySQL and MongoDB
- Experience with Flyway or Liquibase a plus
- Experience operating multi‑regional cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available multi‑regional infrastructure
- Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems
- Integrate and automate physical server inventory using Infrastructure as Code
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery tooling
- Improve latency scalability and reliability of trading systems
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring solutions
- Optimize disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
- Harden infrastructure for security and compliance
- Manage networking and exchange connectivity
- Administer and tune databases and storage for production workloads
- Automate provisioning and immutable infrastructure workflows
- Collaborate with engineers to improve developer tooling and velocity
