Smart Contract Engineer - Ethereum, Soldity
About the Role
You will design, implement and maintain production-grade Solidity smart contracts for decentralised financial markets on an EVM-compatible chain. You will translate research models and prototypes into robust, auditable code, integrate contract functionality into the Autonity Go client, interface with data oracles and P2P stores, and support third-party audits and deployments. You will work on smart derivatives, DEX trading and settlement protocols, algorithmic stabilisation, liquid staking and related on-chain infrastructure.
Requirements
- 4+ years professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years smart contract programming experience in Solidity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Strong knowledge of Ethereum protocols and proof of stake consensus
- Understanding of the DeFi landscape and major DeFi primitives
- Proficiency in Python and web3.py Ethereum development
- Experience interfacing with data oracles and P2P data stores (for example IPFS)
- Experience working with third-party smart contract auditors
- History of contributing code to open-source Web3 projects
