Smart Contract Engineer (EVM)
About the Role
You will implement protocol mechanisms and build efficient, composable smart contracts in Solidity and Yul. You will integrate the protocol with frontend and backend systems, design and write robust tests using Foundry and Hardhat, and maintain good code documentation. You will analyze and reverse engineer protocol designs, research new developments in the Ethereum ecosystem, and collaborate closely with other engineers.
Requirements
- Ability to build the entire protocol in Solidity and Yul
- 9+ months of experience writing smart contracts for the EVM ecosystem
- 4+ years of programming experience
- Great communication skills
- Passion about DeFi financial derivatives markets and NFTs
Responsibilities
- Implement protocol mechanisms by writing efficient composable smart contracts
- Integrate the protocol with frontend and backend systems
- Design and write robust test cases using Foundry Hardhat and other tools
- Document code and maintain clear technical documentation
- Analyze and reverse engineer protocol designs and mechanisms
- Research and stay up to date with developments in the Ethereum ecosystem
- Collaborate with team engineers
