Social Media Manager Africa
About the Role
You will own and execute the social media strategy for Africa. You will create, direct, and tailor content for X, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms. You will localize global campaigns for African audiences, monitor sentiment and regional trends, and turn insights into actionable content and campaigns. You will grow and engage regional communities by connecting with builders, creators, and traders.
Requirements
- Deeply immersed in crypto culture and active onchain, following onchain trends and narratives
- Experienced in social media management, ideally 3+ years in crypto, tech, or Web3 startups
- Additional experience in growth marketing, content creation, or community led growth
- Experience growing or managing crypto communities in Africa; relationships with builders, creators and KOLs are a plus
- Strong communicator with clear writing and ability to adjust tone for different audiences
- Preferred locations: Kenya or Ghana; possible locations: UAE or London
